What hygiene questions should I ask before booking a spa in Hurghada?
Ask these before you hand over money, and expect specific answers, not just "yes, very clean":
- Are nail files, buffers and toe separators single-use? (Ours are, and we open them in front of you.)
- How are metal tools sterilised? The answer should be an autoclave, not a UV box or a jar of liquid.
- Is the table sheet changed between every guest? It should be, along with towels and pillow covers.
- Are oils and scrubs decanted per guest? Shared jars with hands going in are a warning sign.
- How is the hammam bench cleaned between sessions? Rinse plus disinfectant, every time.
- Can I see the room before I undress? Any serious spa says yes.

How do I know the price is the real price?
