Does it really help sunburn?
Yes, for the discomfort and the recovery time. Aloe vera and cooling clay lower the skin temperature, calm redness and replace the moisture the sun pulled out, so the burn feels less tight within the first 20 minutes and peels far less over the following days. How to prepare
Drink plenty of water, wear loose cotton, and do not scrub or shave beforehand. Everything you need is provided: robe, slippers, disposable underwear and single-use towels, with the treatment bed sanitised between guests.
After your session
The skin will feel cool and calm. Stay out of the sun for the rest of the day, keep drinking water and reapply after-sun lotion at bedtime. Once the redness has settled, usually in 2-3 days, a Turkish hammam or a chocolate scrub will finish the job and even out the tan.

What to Expect
Our driver picks you up free from any hotel inside Hurghada about 20 minutes before your slot (Sahl Hasheesh, El Gouna and Makadi +€10 per guest). Wear loose clothing that will not rub. In the spa you change in a private cabin, and your therapist, who speaks English, German, Russian or Arabic, looks at the burnt areas first to adjust the treatment.
The 75 minutes are spent in a cool, dimly lit room with a shower attached: a lukewarm rinse, 30 minutes under a chilled aloe, clay and cucumber wrap with a rose-water compress on the face and a scalp massage, then a gentle 30-minute aloe and calendula oil massage that steers around the sorest areas. Nothing is hot and nothing is rough.
You finish with cucumber water and after-sun lotion in the lounge. Expect immediate relief from tightness and much less peeling over the following days. Pay after in EUR, EGP or by card; your driver takes you back.
