Sauna, Jacuzzi & Steam Pass

The sauna and jacuzzi pass in Hurghada gives you 60 minutes of our thermal circuit for €12 per person (regular €15): a Finnish sauna at around 80°C, a eucalyptus steam room at about 45°C, a warm jacuzzi and mint tea in the lounge, with free pickup and drop-off from any hotel inside Hurghada. It is the cheapest way to fix a stiff back after diving, warm up after a windy kitesurfing session in El Gouna, or rescue a grey day when the boat trips are cancelled.

What is included in the 60-minute thermal pass?

• Finnish sauna (80°C, dry heat): a cedar cabin for up to six guests. Two rounds of 10-12 minutes are ideal.
• Steam room (45°C, 100 percent humidity): eucalyptus-scented, marble-tiled, kind to sinuses and dry skin after salt water.
• Jacuzzi (36-38°C): hydro-massage jets aimed at the lower back and shoulders, lantern-lit.
• Cold shower and rest area: plunge showers between rounds, loungers, and mint tea.

You move between the three at your own pace; our staff suggest a circuit (sauna, cold shower, jacuzzi, steam, cold shower, jacuzzi) if you would like guidance.

Who is the thermal pass for?

Divers on a no-dive day (please allow at least 12-24 hours after your last dive before using the sauna; your instructor will confirm), kitesurfers and windsurfers chilled by the northern wind, safari guests with jeep-battered backs, and couples who want an hour together without a full treatment. It is also the ideal add-on before any massage, because warm muscles respond better.

Can I combine it with a massage?

Yes, and most guests do. Book the pass plus a 60-minute relax massage for €29 in total, or plus a 90-minute deep tissue for €34, and we schedule the massage straight after the circuit. Mention it in the booking notes.

Is it private or shared?

The thermal area is shared between a small number of guests at a time (we cap it at eight), with swimwear required. For a completely private circuit, book the VIP Private Spa Suite or ask about off-peak hours; weekday mornings between 10:00 and 12:00 are usually quiet.

How to prepare

Bring swimwear and drink water beforehand. Skip alcohol and heavy meals for two hours. Robe, slippers and single-use towels are provided, the sauna benches are covered with fresh linen, and the jacuzzi is filtered and tested throughout the day. Not recommended in pregnancy or with heart conditions; ask us if unsure.

After your session

You will feel loose, warm and ready for a very good night's sleep. Hydrate, avoid intense sun for an hour, and go easy on dinner. Many guests come back every second day of their stay.
