Couples and Honeymoon Spa Ideas in Hurghada

A couples spa treatment means the two of you are in the same room, on two tables, with two therapists working at the same time. Nothing about it is awkward: the room is private, the lighting is low, and you can talk or stay silent as you like.

At Wellness-Hurghada the couples rooms are built for this. The hammam has two marble tables side by side under one arch, so you go through steam, warm water, scrub and foam wash together. The massage room has two beds with a lantern between them. The jacuzzi and steam room can be reserved for you alone, so a couple can spend twenty minutes in warm water before the therapists arrive.

The Couples Spa Escape is the treatment most honeymooners choose: a shared hammam, a private jacuzzi and steam session, then a 60-minute massage each, side by side, for €59 per couple over 150 minutes. Mint tea and dates close the afternoon in the relax lounge. Two therapists, one of each gender if you prefer, and the driver waits to take you back to the hotel or to dinner.

2. 2The private suite: VIP Private Spa Suite, €52 per person. Three hours in a suite with its own hammam alcove, jacuzzi under an arch and massage room. Nobody else enters. Rose petals, candles and a cake can be arranged for an anniversary or a proposal; ask on WhatsApp.
3. 3The Cleopatra night: two Cleopatra Programs booked in the same room, €27 each. Milk soak, honey scrub, foam wash and a full oil massage. The most photographed treatment we run, and a good story to tell at the wedding party back home.

For comparison, a couples massage inside a Hurghada resort spa is commonly quoted at €120 to €200 per couple for 60 minutes, and the room is often booked out on weekends. Our prices include the driver, and payment is after the treatment in euros, Egyptian pounds or by card.

Not on the first night, and not on the last. Those are the two mistakes we see most often. This is the timing that works.

• Day 2 or 3: an easy start. Two relax massages in the evening to clear the flight and the wedding week from your shoulders.
• Middle of the holiday: the Couples Spa Escape. By now you have sun on your skin and the hammam scrub feels like a reset. Book it for 17:00 or 18:00, the most romantic light in the relax lounge, and go for dinner afterwards.
• A windy day: boat trips get cancelled in Hurghada when the wind picks up. That is the day for the VIP Private Spa Suite: three hours indoors, warm water, nobody else around.
• Anniversary or proposal night: the VIP suite again, or two Cleopatra Programs. Tell us the date and the occasion and we prepare the room.
• Two days before departure: your last big spa moment, with time to recover. Avoid scrubs on the final day; a head, neck and shoulder massage for two is the gentle goodbye.

Evenings from 18:00 are the busiest and the couples rooms are the first to go, so message a day or two ahead for a specific evening. The spa is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00 with the last start at 18:00, and the beauty salon stays open until 22:00.

The easiest surprise on a holiday is one that needs no card, no receipt in the room and no early confession. Here is how couples do it with us.

Message us on WhatsApp (+20 10 29844727) with the hotel, the date and the treatment. Reservation needs no card and no deposit, so nothing appears on a statement. We confirm a pickup time. On the day, you tell your partner you are going to dinner, the driver collects you both from the lobby, and the treatment starts when you arrive. Payment is after, in cash or by card, whichever keeps the secret best.

Extras we can arrange in the couples rooms and the VIP suite: rose petals on the tables, candles and lanterns, a small cake, a bottle of sparkling wine or fresh juice, and a printed message. Tell us in the message and we quote any extra cost honestly up front; the room itself is never charged extra.

If plans change, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start, and rescheduling to another evening is free at any time subject to availability.

Can we be treated together as a man and a woman? Yes, that is what the couples rooms are for. Therapists are assigned by gender preference: many couples ask for a female therapist for her and a male therapist for him, and some prefer two female therapists. Just say so when you book.

What do we wear? Disposable underwear and towel wraps in the hammam, disposable underwear under the sheet during massage. Swimwear is fine in the jacuzzi and steam room.

Is it suitable for a pregnant partner? From the second trimester we offer a gentle relax massage and a facial; we decline massage in the first trimester and we avoid the hot steam and very hot jacuzzi for pregnant guests. Tell us in advance and we adapt the package.

Can friends or family come? The Family Hammam Experience takes up to four people for €64, and the VIP suite can host a small group. Ask for the current group price.

Is a tip expected? No. Guests who were happy often leave something for the therapists, but the price you see is the full price.

What if one of us does not like hammam? Swap it. One partner can have the hammam while the other takes a foot reflexology or a deep cleansing facial, and you meet again for the side-by-side massage.
